A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 3: All We Know So Far

A Series Of Unfortunate Events traces the story of orphaned Baudelaire children. They are never at peace because of their vicious relatives and this time around for newly discovered secrets of their parents. At the end of Season 2, they learned about the secret society their parents were members of. Not much was revealed about this secret society but Season 3 sure will be full of secrets that are going to blow our mind. These children, they land in the custody of their Uncle Count Olaf played by Neil Pattrick Harris. Olaf not only wants to embezzle all of their wealth but also wants to marry the eldest of them, Violet.

Violet, Klaus, and Sunny at the end of Season 2 were in deeper trouble. They were falsely framed for the fake murder of their Uncle Olaf who later ends up capturing them. The children will ensure their safety at the end of Season 3, (I am sure) as Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events will come to an end in the third Season. Count Olaf will be held for his atrocious crimes, and the Baudelaire children will live in peace.

A Series Of Unfortunate Events Season 3: Release Date

Like I mentioned before Season 3 is to be the last of it all. Neil Pattrick who plays Olaf on the show repeatedly assured us that wrapping the show in Season 3 was always their plan. He called the show a piece of art as opposed to something that has to do runs and reruns. So for now, what I can tell you is that Season 3 will return to Netflix in 2019. Unfortunately we do not have a specific release date yet. But let’s take a guess, shall we?

A Series Of Unfortunate Events Season 3

Neil made sure to tell us on his Twitter that filming for Season 3 wrapped up in May of 2018. The show is in post-production stage right now. Season 1 premiered in January 2017 on Netflix. The second Season came in March of 2018. Naturally, Season 3 should come to Netflix in the early half of 2019. Season 3 will consist of just seven episodes which is lesser than what previous Seasons offered us. The final episode of A Series Of Unfortunate Events is titled as “The End,” and it supposedly is a long one. The showrunners wanted to end the finale in just one episode instead of separating it into two halves.

A Series Of Unfortunate Events Season 3: Spoilers

Now for Season 3, one can say that Baudelaire children will make peace with destiny’s terms. As fans of the show, you may know that it is adapted from the books in Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events series: The Slippery Slope, The Grim Grotto, The Penultimate Peril, and The End. At the end of Season 2, we all saw how Baudelaires set fire
to fortune teller Madame Lulu’s tent. This was an attempt to destroy the secrets about the V.F.D- the same secret organization I mentioned before. These are the same secrets would have opened Pandora’s box and audiences would have learnt about everything. But unfortunately, all of it is gone. Count Olaf drove the Baudelaires to an unknown place at the end.

But that’s not it all; we meet Allison Williams’ character who arrives at the end of Season 2. She is our silver lining. She’s going to save the children and knows all about V.F.D, IMO (we heard Snicket say how she’s the ex- madame Lulu). At this point I must tell us that V.F.D stands for Volunteer Fire Department. This organization has recruits who are known to extinguish fire both literal and actual. This V.F.D split into two: the firefighters and the fire starters.

The fighters are good men and women while starters are bad ones. Baudelaire, Snickets, and the Quagmires are all firefighters. It should be no surprise that Olaf and the rest are starters. There will be a battle of these split factions in Season 3.

A Series Of Unfortunate Events Season 3: Cast
For Season 3, you may expect the same old Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes, and Presley Smith to play Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire. Neil Pattrick will play count Olaf. K. Todd Freeman will be back as Arthur Poe. Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket will also be back too. At the end of Season 2, we saw Allison Williams as ex-madame Lulu.
